Working from a young age has taught me so many valuable lessons, not only workforce wise, but personally. I am grateful that I got to work from a young age because it gives me a bit of an edge; I have that tenacity and drive that is sometimes hard to come by these days and I feel am a very valuable employee.
Work Experience
Food Expeditor
Tacocraft taqueria
March 2022 to March 2023
Working in a high paced, fast environment is no easy task. As a server/food runner, I play many roles. One of the most important ones to me is customer service; I must strive to make sure my customers have an amazing experience and are kept no matter what,I also am the last line of defense ensuring every ticket comes out correct and garnished correctly and ran proficiently and quickly, also keeping my side of the line clean and tidy throughout my shift. The skills that I use here like teamwork, improvisation, reading and patience could be applied to all work forces, but in this application, I have gained a lot of strength in these skills.
Line Cook
Bo’s pub - Las olas
July 2022 to January 2023
Working here was my first ever job on the line in a restaurant it was probably my most challenging but fun job I’ve had from the friends I’ve made and the team work we all shared together working on the line taught me how to really stay driven in a fast pace environment from reading ticket orders coming in constantly one after the other to even cleaning the kitchen so I can go home on time I can say there was never a dull day. Food prepping before we open was probably the most tenacious thing blanching chicken wings and broccoli chopping vegetables and sharpening knives . Education
