Medical Assistant—Roomed patients, took vitals, verified medicines and updated surigical history. Performed ekg,holter monitors, loop 7 & 30 day monitors. Mpat monitors, assisted in stress testing. Also helped run the coumadin clinic. Adjusted coumadin, warfarin according to the inr . Set up new patients on coumadin when needed. Also had a system where patients could do at home monitoring for their inr. Documented changes and INR in computer. Gave test results to patients and scheduled if needed to be seen.
