Experience

7/2022 to 1/2023: Customer Value Partners (CVP), Vienna, VA

Manager - Business Process Analyst

In July 2022, I signed a written job offer for $130,000 with CVP to support their DHS customer in Washington, D. C. I was told that the offer was contingent on the successful completion of a security clearance background re-investigation. Subsequently, I went through CVP’s new-employee orientation program, selected the benefits I wanted, completed forms online and on my cell phone, and reported to a DHS site where I was fingerprinted and photographed. Over the next six months CVP called to reassure me that the investigation was ongoing. In January 2023 CVP’s human resources personnel notified me that the job offer had been rescinded because the “government agency responsible for completing the security clearance background investigation never initiated the process and the offer timed out”. They assured me that this outcome had nothing to do with anything that I had done.
