VALEO LIGHTING Seymour, Indiana 7/2018-5/2022 Supply Chain Program Team Member

Set up and implemented all Supply Chain activities for new products from suppliers and customers: o Transportation flows: Internal (Small train) and External (Milk run) o Packaging: Small containers deployment and packaging standardization o Storage: Layout definition

Managed the new model launches from inception to completion.

Worked directly with customers to ensure product launch information was delivered to the correct team members.

Managed six direct reports.

Negotiated the most cost-effective pricing with packaging suppliers to obtain quality products.

Scheduled both domestic and non-domestic incoming and outgoing trucks, vessels and air freight

Communicated directly with customs brokers to schedule freight with airlines and vessels.

Managed inventory counts to ensure materials needed for new products were readily available for successful product launches.

Provided forecasts to suppliers prior to start of production.

Successfully sourced and secured goods and services such as raw materials, and direct production components.

Managed vendor and supplier contracts to ensure agreement terms were followed and deadlines were being met.

Lead multiple programs and teams.

Successfully launched a program in a third of the time as normal programs. Tesla asked for a six-month launch. I maneuvered electronic materials from overseas in a timely manner while budget cutting during COVID.

My success with putting the hours in with suppliers, freight companies, and brokers has always led me to success.

Decreased line time by extra effort to help the supervisor over the team on the floor to guarantee success

Manage projects and programs with the line supervisor, as well as the program manager over said program

Day to day working on launch programs, it was my responsibility to self plan productions numbers for the trial runs and for testing. At the end of SOP it was also my responsibility to plan these numbers into mass production for the first six months of mass production. This also included forecasting to ensure availability

and ensure parts could be delivered on time.

For each program it was my duty to perform run out sheets per part number and per customer.

When customers were having issues on delivering on time it was my responsibility to put together a PSI sheet (part supplier inventory). This gave us visibility on what the customers could commit to based on when we needed the material.

I worked with customers and suppliers on a day to day basis.

Launching new programs, it was very tedious. Issues did come up time to time internally and externally. This is where my dedication, persistence, time, knowledge and experience came into play to guarantee success.

Support processing engineers with line time improvements ( material, WIP areas for the material runners, time studies, equipment activities)

FAURECIA Columbus, Indiana 08/2017 – 07/2018

Organize purchase orders and purchase requisitions to order materials, goods, and supplies for the company.

Communicated with the suppliers on a day-to-day basis to respond to questions and concerns.

Access customer portals daily to acquire prototype demand per customer.

Scheduled daily production requirements for each prototype based on customer demand.

Coordinate directly with project teams to present critical information required to complete the project builds.

With no warehouse management system, I was able to improve the inventory for the customer builds. This ensured the customers demand was met.

GM changes their requirements very frequently, being on top of it and communication to my team gained success.

AISIN USA Seymour, Indiana 01/2011 – 08 /2017

Generated reports to ensure suppliers and vendors were meeting shipping deadlines as agreed upon.

Decreased line time by process improvement ideas due to experience.

Supported and worked with the Kanban inventory process
