Head of Transformation and Innovation

Served as a trusted advisor to my clients on business strategy, operational effectiveness, and software development/deployment best practices, including a special project to gamify smart enterprise applications. Led multiple CEOs in jump-starting innovation cultures through internal modernization challenges and aligned business practices and pioneered non-traditional partnerships with global IT/OT companies to test concepts in early market adoption and rapid cycle application development.

As a trusted advisor to CEOs of Terralogic, Assured Quality Services, JPods Texas, and Accentec Technologies, I led the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that resulted in significant growth and profitability.

Guided several F500 Innovation teams through an AI-IoT-based Digital Transformation (DX) Journey. Regional VP of Sales

Member of the Executive team. Managed all revenue generation for Enterprise SOW-based Digital Transformation (IoT-based) projects; Closed $650K in six months. Developed, negotiated, and nurtured strategic & contractual relationships with channel partners, vendors, and end-user customers. An IT startup; became financially unviable.

Penetrated, negotiated, and closed multiple SOW-based contracts into Avaya’s R&D department to implement an internal & partner-facing cloud-based portal to instantiate demo environments for Avaya’s leading cloud-based applications into AWS, GPC, Azure, and VMware platforms. The project utilized serverless technologies and a self-serve service catalog to ensure compliance and governance to Avaya’s corporate policies.

L3Harris Technologies, Inc, Link Simulation & Training, Arlington TX 2016-2017

Regional Account Executive

Accountable for direct sales of all Driver Training Solutions in the Southeast Region. Developed a strategy for exceeding quota expectations and managing the simulation hardware and driver training services business. Managed pre-sales, delivered presentations, business cases, and discovery and negotiation sessions as required. Closed $1.4M on a $1.1M Goal.

Consulted closely with the Senior Government Official/Contracting officer to close a $500K upgrade for 55+ driving simulators for the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC: 95 agencies utilize this elite training center); negotiated a research grant for additional revenue.

Owned the relationship between L3 and the TMAP program: IBT (Teamsters Union) & US Army “Soldier for Life” vocational training program for transitioning soldiers to civilian life – used driving simulation to accelerate CDL training. Introduced the concept of a “Teamster Certified Driver Program” for 65,000+ union drivers.

KayPat Enterprises (d/b/a KayPat, Low Power Green & Trachound), Dallas TX 2008 – 2016
