After VRS I worked in two companies in Mumbai as Finance Manager in charge of Banking Portfolio.

After shifting to Coimbatore in August 2016 and now looking after as a Financial Consultant.

Deputy Chief Manager, Overseas Branch, Mumbai. Managing documentary credits, trade finance, Export bills, and foreign remittances at the bank’s apex foreign exchange dealing branch.

1995-1998:

Deputy Manager, Bank of India, UK. At Jersey and London city Branches of the bank. Worked as Currency trader, client relationship manager, funds placement manager, and also trade finance operations of important overseas branches of the Bank. Handled derivative products such as currency swaps, interest rate swaps, forward covers etc.,

This overseas assignment was given in recognition of my exemplary track record at the Varanasi city /region branches of the Bank of India.

1994-1995

Desk Officer, Regional Office, Varanasi. Responsible for assessment of Commercial, corporate & institutional credit proposals. Also served as recovery officer during my tenure. Recovery portfolio increased substantially.

1992-1994:

Branch Manager, Bank of India, Kuar Bazaar, Varanasi. Branch business doubled, deposits grew by 250%, loans & advances grew 150%, non-performing assets reduced by 55%. Awarded the “OUTSTANDING MANAGER” for the region.

1986-1991:

Probationary Officer/ Accountant, Bank of India, Various branches in U.P state. Learnt aspects of banking through on –the-job, and classroom training. Was rotated through various branches of the bank to familiarize with personal banking, commercial & Institutional banking, small scale industry & business finance, foreign exchange, and agricultural banking.
