Facility Manager, Maintenance Manager. Construction Manager, and Engineer. Arenas of work and management experience have been with commercial, industrial and government contractors. Construction Manager/Project Manager for the HVAC complex for the UC Fresno campus. Oversee installation of Boilers, Chillers, piping, electrical, instrumentation and controls to operate as designed to supply buildings on the loop with hydronic water for heating and cooling for the campus buildings. This is a P-3 project valued at $140M and required 3 years to complete. Responsibilities include overseeing successful installation and balance the interest of both the public and private stakeholders. Required to monitor construction progress assuring adherence to specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Finally, assuring proper operation and settings for all equipment as specified, and provide oversight and coordination for all contractors to assure timely performance per project schedule meeting all the quality and safety standards. Maintain all operations in conformance with design requirements, specifications, change documentation and special inspection requirements.

Contract with Danone, City of Industry, CA October 2022 to April 2023

Providing support as the Construction Manager for numerous construction activities at the plant in City of Industry, CA. This position additionally requires maintaining a safety envelope for all contractors and insuring compliance with the required permits. Projects include removal of damaged walking ceilings and reinstallation of the supporting steel, block out for penetrations and insuring maintaining live load and dead load at 20 ppsi. Installation of a steam feeder line to a stem reduction station in the sanitary steam system. Working with the contractors for the parking area modifications for cars and tanker trucks, install new lighting for the parking areas, correct and improve gate operations and improve site security. Fire system and water supply modifications for improving hazardous chemical room sprinkler and high plastic storage areas.

Contract with Danone, Salt Lake City, UT April 2022 to June 2022

As Maintenance Manager, I was the in support of the maintenance and repair of the production lines, packaging lines, extrusion systems (blow mold), waste water systems, boilers, air compressors, ammonia compressors for refrigeration, cooling towers, compactors, stackers, facilities and water and steam systems. Provide a leadership role in work control, preventative maintenance and spare parts. The Maintenance Manager is a member of the management team who stands united with the team to support the Danone leadership efforts, goals and executes the plans to make each facility the market leader.

Volt Inc. Contract with Danone, West Jordan, Utah October 2020 to April 2021

Construction Manager / Construction Safety Manager. Successfully completed work on a major project ($45M) for waste water tank (New MBBR) and improvements, building expansion in many locations to provide for new production lines and equipment, Fruit Stations, craft entry station, contractors village, new 60,000 gallon tank erection, chilled water addition, new ammonia chiller, waste water MBBR tank installation and modifications to the Waste Water systems, and many MIF room improvements and expansion, 7 new conference rooms, build new control room, build a new spare parts inventory room, add additional space for the maintenance area and many other construction efforts. Each of these requires process piping including product lines, 4 types of water lines, CIP process lines, steam and steam condensate recovery lines, hot water lines, and waste lines.

A new ammonia-based chiller, cooling tower, heat exchanger were installed with tanks, piping for Glycol, Ice water, VFD’s, and heat exchangers were added. Miles of pipe and wire are included with programming to make all of this work. Underground pipe and wire with concrete and asphalt ware necessary to provide the necessary services.

The plant operates on a 24/7 schedule. Maintenance Manager maintains all plant operations and includes garbage separations, Linder grinders, conveyor systems, plant air/steam/water systems for the Anerobic Digester systems including ANGI gas purification systems and RHG distribution systems. I provided leadership for all craft for startup, operations, environmental, training, CMMS development, contracting subcontractors, electrical, plumbing A/C systems, engineering, and maintenance.
