I am an almost lifelong vegetarian, if you exclude a brief period as a pescatarian recommended by a less than competently consummate dietitian. Whose knowledge excluded a cruelty free way of obtaining omega 3. (I personally, would recommend flax seed.) Have now become a fully committed Vegan, for both ecological and animal welfare reasons. The degradation and abuse suffered by sentient beings who are treated as products is abysmal and is indicative of a sociopathic society whose objectification of living creatures has created a greed and speed philosophy. That I personally feel to be the root cause of the callous indifference that lies at the heart of many of humanities most existential problems. Which include, the environmental impact of the industrial livestock industry, which is absolutely astronomical, accounting for nearly 19.6% of all Greenhouse gasses. This is something, I personally feel that I cannot be involved in, as a conscious entity committed to preserving the environment, and standing up against extractive capitalisms environmental devastation. It is for these reasons, that I wish to direct my energy towards building a sustainable (By which I mean both, environmentally and socially) career in the vegan hospitality sector. After a wide spanning work history, spanning from Mobile-phone repair-technician, to, Youth football coach with protracted stints as both builder and Logistical chain gang facilitator. I have decided to put my ethics at the fore front of my employment priorities, and fully commit to the Vegan cause. My main culinary inspirations are taken from traditional Indian cuisine, mixed in with slithers and snips taken from Ottolenghi, Chloe Coscarelli & Tal Ronnen (Sorry for the name drops) as well other luminaries of vegan cuisine. Although, my professional experience is limited. My enthusiasm is almost boundless.

Jack of all trades\meat in the room for a construction agency, more concerned with protecting their bottom-line using a legally dubious umbrella corporation than the health and wellbeing of their staff, I experienced several negative situations during my time working for them including theft of wages, denial of responsibility for the provision of personal protective equipment etc. Situations that resulted in me raising complaint and being illegally blacklisted by the agency.

Duties included

The ecologically responsible disposal of waste

Assisting with roofing, laying roofing felt, cutting batons etc. Ensuring sites were kept clean and hazard free in -line with H.S.E regulations (To the best of our abilities).

Provision of care for My terminally Ill Grandfather and dementia suffering Grandmother who had also sustained a hip injury March 2021- December 2021 Helping to make sure both Grandparents were comfortable and well nourished. Maintaining a clean homestead by carrying out domestic chores. Ensuring medication was taken at the correct time and both remained adequately hydrated.

Helping them to access all benefits they were entitled to, such as attendance allowance.

Helping liaise with various medical staff to ensure my Grandparents fully understood the information they were being dispensed

Helping my Grand Mother with her physiotherapy to help her fully convalesce from her hip injury
