JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Educating all the employees on basis site HSE rules & regulations.

• Conduct Tool Box Talk for the work force on different safety issues.

• Perform safety inductions for new arrivals at site.

• Ensure that all persons are made aware of precautionary measures while performing works.

• To ensure all accidents and dangerous occurrences are reported and necessary remedial action is taken.

• I shall conduct regular field inspections and record all safety deficiencies and recommended corrections in the discrepancy.

• Ensure permit to work system is properly followed.

• On daily basis I shall ensure that all operatives including subcontractors are working in a safe manner and complying safety regulations.

• Communicate with and advise line management (managers, engineers, supervisors and foreman) on implementation of the project HSE plan.

• Conduct HSE meeting along with project manager to address any HSE issue at site.

• Conduct HSE meeting / training at site and brief employees on safe work methods.

• Identify Hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken to rectify / mitigate the same.

• Investigate accident / incident and near misses and submit reports to project manager / HSE manager.

• Update the risk assessment and aspect / impact study on occurrence of any accidents/ incidents.

• Encourage and conduct additional tool box talk on new activities as required.

• Review relevant checklists appropriate for the job with the project team in tool box talks.

• Carry out inspection on firefighting equipment and take necessary action to update equipment.

• Inspect ladders, scaffoldings, power tools, hand tools and lifting equipment periodically and ensure it meets the requirements.

• Issue HSE violations to those who are found violating the HSE rules and requirements.

• Prepare monthly HSE reports and forward it to HSE Manager / P.M for review and approval.

• Ensure MSDS for all HAZARDOUS material / substance are maintained at project site and necessary precautions are taken and copy has been forwarded to first aid room.

• Ensure adequate signage is placed.

• Implement Emergency preparedness plan.

• Maintain all HSE documents related to the projects and ensure it is kept up to date and produced for any references or audit.
