Key Responsibilities
As your responsibility, you will look after the overall monitoring and evaluation part of above mentioned Project in ICDC Nepal as a member of staff team in overall leadership of the Program Coordinator (PC) and necessary instructions, suggestions, feedbacks and guidelines of the Program Manager including its Executive Board respectively. Following will be your specific Terms of References (ToR) as a "Livelihood officer" during your tenure in this organization;
1)Work under the direction of and code of conduct of the organization
2)Take lead role for the management of trainings like agricultural and livestock producer’s groups, leader farmers, cooperatives. Production and linkage with market and social Audit.
3)Take lead on establishment of improved production plots, Establishment and strengthening of farmer groups/ cooperatives, Improvement of animal husbandry, kitchen gardening and irrigation canals, user committee formations, and business plan preparation of cooperatives, and Starting new / expanding existing businesses as alternative source of livelihoods.
4)Ensure gender equity and humanitarian principles are mainstreamed.
5)Establish and maintain good coordination with local authorities like rural municipality/ municipality, DCC as well as line agencies like Agriculture Development Section, Livestock Development Section, Cooperatives and Industries Development Section in RM level and District Level DADO, DLSO, DIO, Cottage & Small Industries Office, District Cooperative Division Office and other concerned agencies for advocacy related to program interventions.
6)Arrange necessary documents of the interventions; collect regular update, case stories, success stories and good practices in the field.
7)Field movement plan and Proper management of activities in implementation.
8)Any other tasks suggested by up liners.
