Reporting to the CHRO, directs all of the Human Resources functions for the Americas region: US, Columbia, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. Primary areas of responsibility:

• Function as a strategic advisor to the leadership, the business, and HR functions regarding HR Operations matters, in such a way that builds confidence and trust.

• Develop and drive the People Strategy for the Americas Region and create concrete deliverables and KPIs for the HR Operations team

HR Manager, Performance Management – Houston, July 2014 to March 2015. Responsible for supporting global operations and corporate management in the following areas:

• Manage workforce and succession plans for all key positions.

• Responsible for job profiling, establishing career paths, developing training programs (both technical and managerial), and creating workforce and succession plans for positions at the unit organizational level.

• Recommend, coordinate and implement strategic employee development systems and programs that support organizational development and monitor compliance with statutory training and other applicable requirements

• Develop and deliver the on and offshore performance appraisal process globally. Business Unit HR Manager – Middle East Africa, Dubai - April 2012 to July 2014 In my role as the Business Unit HR Manager, I was responsible for managing the HR functions for the Middle East and Africa region, which included onshore and offshore operations in Angola, Saudi, UAE, Qatar, India and South Africa. Employee population was 2100 which included full time expatriates and local employees as well as an international rotational workforce. Regional HR staff of 64 with 4 direct reports. • Manage the HR functions for existing and new country startups including local benefits, local office set up, recruiting staff, compensation programs, local operating licensing and mobility/logistics options for onshore and offshore staff.

• Guide executives, managers and HR staff through Performance Improvement Plans, Performance Appraisal processes, Terminations, and internal Promotions & Transfers. This includes educating executives and managers on applicable employment law and associated risks, as well as coaching them in preparation for performance-based feedback meetings, compensation recommendations, and ensuring proper leadership development is taking place.

• Drive and guide operations and HR Managers in developing Succession Plans, Individual Development Plans for individuals identified as high potential and promotable, and Talent Management, including Stay Interviews and Mentorship programs.

• Responsible for submitting regional and local labor rates for bids and proposals

• Develop and drive regional specific strategies for staffing & recruiting large operations while managing the selection and on-boarding processes for internal and external candidates.

Director, Human Resources - MENA Region, Dubai

Director of HR for the Middle East and North Africa operations based in Dubai responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function for an international population of 850+ based in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Qatar, Iraq (military and commercial), Afghanistan (US military, LOGCAP, support), and Kuwait. (F&A, IT, Marketing, Communications and Real Estate). Strategic role looking at the various HR disciplines, such as staffing, compensation and employee relations and identifies areas where we can improve the processes. I am also the focal point for rolling out initiatives from the various Corporate HR areas, such as bonus programs, performance review process and any web based HR tools.
