Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the newly acquired IFS (Version 10) system. Responsible for the Migration of data from Microsoft’s CRM system and a very old AS400 DMAS system. This included writing ETL’s to extract data from the old systems and XML development to integrate data between systems. Also responsible for the various interfaces that needed to be built to outside systems also developing ETL’s and XML’s to accomplish the Data Migration. Phase 1 was completed successfully in March of 2019, worked on Phase 2 of the project which included migrating Manufacturing and Distribution data with over 50 warehouses including Routes, BOM’s, Structures and Parts. Also worked with IFS consultants on Service, Installation, Maintenance and Warranty (focusing on HVAC systems) with a completion date in late December, 2020.

• IFS Data and Interface Migration, Phase 1, 2017 – 2018, IFS Version 10

Migrated all Financial, Payables, Installation data for phase 1 of this project to IFS Version 10 from DMAS and CRM systems developing ETL’s to transform data from the old system to the new system. Also created the necessary interfaces using API’s to move data between IFS to DMAS and DMAS to IFS.

• IFS Data and Interface Migration, Phase 2, 2019 – 2020, IFS Version 9

Migrated all remaining data from DMAS and CRM to IFS Version 9. This included all remaining Parts, Customers, Manufacturing, Work Orders and Routings utilizing ETL’s to transform the data from the old system to the new system.

PROJECTS MANAGED: The D.S. Brown Company

• Engineering Automation & EBS Integration, 2017

Responsible for managing the implementation of Oracle’s Agile system in conjunction with a DriveWorks implementation to further automate the processes of Order Entry, BOM Generation and Routings.

• Bar Coding Implementation (MSCA), 2015

Responsible for selecting and implementing Oracle’s Bar Coding solution throughout the manufacturing plant. Heavy emphasis on Discrete Manufacturing and Warehousing.

• Docusphere Installation, 2014

Managed the evaluation and implementation of an Accounts Payable automated system. After evaluating a number of systems, Docusphere was selected. The newly automated system was completed by August 2014 on time and under budget. As a result, re-delegated two AP clerks with a savings of over $50,000 per year. Reported directly to the CFO who sponsored the project.

• Primavera Installation, 2013

Managed the evaluation and installation of a Project Management system resulting in a savings of $50,000 per year. Led a cross-functional user team consisting of six people from areas of the business and several contractors. Developed a project plan with milestones and provided updates to the Executive Team.

Managed the evaluation and implementation of a Business Intelligence system. Developed and led a user team consisting of eight individuals from different areas of the business to define requirements. Specific milestones were set and followed with regular updates to the Executive Team.
