I Led Chief Product Engineers and project managers, optimizing resource interactions and utilization. NA Regional Chief Engineer for Independent Test Verification Dec 2019 - Dec 2020 As a goal-oriented executive leader, I was fully responsible for verifying that all NA Aptiv products complied with Customer Requirements through the implementation of innovative test strategies and methodologies. My team specialized in designing test plans, test procedures, test execution, and reports, with a focus on Autonomous Driving, Passive Safety, Crash Sensing, and User Experience product lines.

Achievements: Successfully launched an ADAS Level 2 project for an OEM, ensuring full test coverage and high levels of automation. This project attained ASPICE Level 2 for test-related base processes across multiple projects through diligent teamwork and collaboration. I led, managed, and developed five Test Engineering Group Managers overseeing approximately eighty engineers throughout the NA region.

Site Manager and Technical Advisor April 2006 - Nov 2019 I was a results-driven executive leader in charge of the complete engineering site, dedicated to ensuring correct project execution in alignment with Customer Requirements and Aptiv Quality Standards and Design Processes. Proficient in utilizing company tools and following established development processes to achieve objectives. Key competencies include Systems Requirements, Embedded Software Development, Testing, and Electrical Engineering. Played a pivotal role in providing prompt and effective engineering support and leadership to the other Aptiv Customer Centers, Manufacturing Plants, and Technical Centers in North America, as well as facilitating interactions with global sites.

Achievements: Contributed to the growth of the site from its inception to its transformation into a mature and robust Technical Center. Served as acting Chief Engineer, overseeing the execution of multiple projects across various product lines, including User Experience, Infotainment, Body Computers, Passive, and Active Safety products, and many other types of products. I led and developed a team of 10 Engineering Group Managers and a total of 250 Engineers. Received Aptiv global recognition award for implementing high levels of efficiency and test automation in a high-volume Infotainment System, enhancing overall test team performance. Successfully hired and managed SOW engineers of different suppliers when needed to supplement local talent during peak workload periods. One of our dev teams received a PACE award for the design of the first Passive Occupant Detection system in the world which helps save lives.
