To whom it may concern,

Lee Vitkauskas has worked under my direction for the last year at Universal Plastics in Sutton, MA. He was promoted to Plant Manager in February of this year after demonstrating core competencies to Manage.

His responsibility included Safety, Quality Dept. and the factory Value Stream that included a daily walk around review and escalations.

He has shown no reservations to champion on behalf of the factory needs, regardless of issue he would take action to resolve. His role as safety coordinator for Sutton included chair of safety committee, factory safety walks, and he worked to implement a new safety protocol for band-saw guarding. He was a member of the Quality Task Force and MRB and has ability to implement corrective actions.

During the Covid Crisis Lee was instrumental to the success of the business. Universal is an essential business that manufactures components for the medical sector. He implemented Safety protocols and ensured that the employees were supported through the most difficult of times.

In his time here he has conducted himself professionally, and has earned the respect from Management, Co-workers, and Customers. Lee would be an asset to any business.

Respectfully,

Michael E Denette

VP and General Manager of Thermoforming
