Electrical Engineer - (2002-2008)
- Develop new products to sell to the U.S. Government – increased sales from $1M to $7M in 3 yrs
- Designed, developed and drafted a compact, rugged UPS system called the LPP for deployment to the front line offices in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- Developed and drafted a line of enclosures made from ISO containers. These units are dressed out with personnel doors air conditioning and raised diamond plate floors. They have two separate power distribution systems, a Line Filter, Shielded Isolation transformer, UPS system.
- In 2003 I supervised a crew of 8 electricians and technicians in a two month job modifying the electrical system in The U S Embassy in Sana’a Yemen. We installed a temporary gen-set and a transfer switch. Completely revamped the switchgear controls. Replaced one 1500 KVA alternator on a gen-set. Installed two new 1000 Amp transfer switches.
- Coordinated design of 1000 KVA AVR container with mechanical engineering subcontractor.
