Research and Development Scientist

Research conducted on Electro-deposition of Cobalt-Nickel alloy coatings from aqueous solutions on to number of substrates. Such coatings are used for a variety of important commercial applications such as corrosion protection in oil and gas industries and the fabrication of electronics and memory storage devices. The novel aspect of this research was to compare the quality of these allow coatings formed by pulse plating techniques using rectangular and triangular waveform. Research based on the application of Triangular wave pulse plating TPP instead of rectangular wave. The results obtained were promising and showed that improvements to the deposit quality could be achieved by using TPP.
