Experience:

Founding Attorney (October 2022 - Present) Worm Embrace Law, LLC Birmingham, Al

I help protect my client’s intellectual property. I assist in creating businesses for the clients by forming LLCS. I consult with the clients to determine whether they need a trademark or copyright and determine whether their intellectual property is confusingly similar to any others. I review documents to ensure that my clients are only signing and entering into contracts that are in their best interest.

BOLT Attorney (July 2023 - October 2023) Morgan and Morgan, Birmingham, AL

I handled premise liability cases. I made assessments within a week as to whether a case

would move forward to litigation. The assessment were made within ten days or less unless medical treatment was not available within that time frame. I determined whether the cases were viable by assessing the existence of liability and the damages. If there was an issue with liability and little to no treatment or damages, our firm would turn down the case. The firm was massive so I was essentially weeding out the cases that would not be in the best interest of the client or the firm. If the cases were pushed forward because of catastrophic injuries and the existence of liability, then we would write summary briefs, gather the medical records and bills, and conduct private investigations, if necessary.

Staff Attorney (Feb 2018 - August 2022) Personal Injury Law Firm, Birmingham, AL

I handled a multitude of cases in various areas of the law. However, I predominantly handled personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice. I handled anywhere from three hundred to six hundred cases yearly. I managed the case managers to ensure they promptly ordered the medical records and bills and gathered all the documents and photos associated with the cases. I established a great rapport with several chiropractors and hospitals that our clients frequented. I negotiated with the insurance companies in order to reach a fair and reasonable compensation for my client’s pain and suffering. I settled numerous cases for the maximum policy limits. I would ensure that the cases would be litigated if the adjusters were being unreasonable with their offers or erroneously denied the claims.
