● Safe handling/ restraining of animals in clinic for blood draws, urinalysis, radiographs, ultrasounds, etc.
● Assisting veterinarians in getting the history, presenting complaints, and diagnostics needed for treatments as well as setting up to assist in surgeries.
● Communicate properly with clients to ensure they understand their need for our services.
● Effectively inform owners about what to expect regarding state rules and regulations for certain situations including animal bites/disease control

● Assist members of the community by helping them find their perfect pet for adoption while taking in consideration any current housepets to ensure a safe pairing by doing meet and greets before beginning the adoption process.
● Responsible for intaking new animals into the shelter by doing a thorough exam, administering vaccines and microchips, and discovering if the pet has any illnesses and if they require a quarantine.
● Safely working with aggressive pets through training and utilizing Fear Free guidelines to keep the pet’s Fear, Anxiety, and Stress as minimal as possible. Education

Western Nevada College - Associate of Science Degree (completed fall of 2023) After the fall of 2023 I received my Associate of Science degree as well as an Associates degree in General Studies which is my prerequisite work for a Veterinary Degree. I plan on going to UNR to start my Bachelor’s Degree for Veterinary Medicine in the fall before applying to the Veterinary Schools in the country.
