Data Analyst/ Project Manager
Created and maintained reports using SQL Server and reporting services. (Using SQL, T-SQL and SSRS)
Used MS Access to read or modify data files. This was used to transform incoming data files into formatted data to upload to ether access or SQL Server.
Created and updated access databases used for report generation.
Updated Macros, VBA code and report queries.
For some data pulls, MS Access was used as a front end for SQ Server tables.
Completed SSRS updates generated by automated email distribution
MY main accomplishment here was taking customer reporting that had been done off the old mainframe and adapt the reports to pull from the company's new SQL server platform.
The last year at CPA, the QA department was disbanded; My department took over doing the quality control of;
The new SSIS file conversions for data upload to SQL Server. I would check the incoming file and a test upload of the data to make sure the parsing was done correctly.
When any report was written in SQL for an SSRS report, I would cross check the SQL code to make sure the requested data was being pulled form the database in the correct manor.
When a new report was created in Access, I was one who would check not only the output of the report but, the VBA code behind it to make sure the proper data was in the report.
