The Institute for Digital Transformation June 2023 - Present

Chief Digital Officer and Board Member

Following a significant tenure of partnership with the Institute for Digital Transformation, I was personally approached by co-founders Frank Granito and John Palinkas to amplify strategic vision, foster collaboration, and fortify thought leadership as a Board Member and Chief Digital Officer.

Created an implementation, marketing, and support strategy for the Institute for Digital Transformation’s new Digital Transformation Readiness tool (DTRT). As the principal product manager on the team we excelled sales by 250%.

Started a new live series. “Leading in the Digital Era.” The first show was the highest attended show in the Institute history with over 1500 people watching in the first 8 hours. Interest on the second show, AI the impact on leadership and the future of work, had 15,000 impressions one day after it was launched.

Precipart Inc., Farmingdale, NY May 2017 – May 2023

Vice President Global Information Technology & Digital Solutions

Selected by the chairman as the head of technology (CIO) to build a world-class center of excellence. Creating a strong, collaborative relationship across all business units. Developed a 5-year strategic plan, transforming a struggling IT department into a strategic business partner for a 100% growth revenue initiative. Education for all IT team members on business processes enabled effective use of technology, business innovation, and continuous growth. Introduced a customer advisory board in support of culture of transparency, respect, and teamwork enabled IT to work closely with the business in developing new products and turning IT into a profit center.

Designed new products with enhanced technology features and information, through collaborations with sales and engineering. Accomplishment Project to increase 2025 revenue goals by 25%.

Designed a unified global CRM solution to support multiple business units sharing customers, across different product lines creating a higher customer satisfaction score once global support crossed all product lines. Accomplishment CRM adoption was 100% within the first quarter and increased sales of 12.5% in the first year.

Streamlined an ERP consolidation of three disparate systems across three international three international manufacturing companies, two distribution centers, and a sales-centric environment. The new design provided the executive management team with greater access to data and provided the sales team with the customer information required at POS. The resultant information was impossible to get prior to this effort. Accomplishment Financial year closed 50% faster and for the first time in the company’s history, global consolidation was accomplished without engaging external support.

Launched a streamlined and consistent Office 365 centralized document management and unified communications system resulting in a consistent employee experience. Accomplishment lowered mean time to resolve support tickets by 50%

Built an enhanced Cybersecurity framework to support the Department of Defense compliance requirements for both NIST and CMMC, as well as the FDA, ISO, GDPR, and others. This new system is currently standard on every new customer presentation. Accomplishment Compliance requirement to do business with the Department of Defense. Since the completion of the project, we have doubled Defense contract work.

Interim Associate Vice President, Enterprise Application Services - Montclair State University (Nov 2014 – May 2017)

Held dual roles as Interim Associate Vice President of Enterprise Services and Enterprise Engagement Manager to implement a transformative solution integrating all business areas of Montclair State University. Defined a strategic, organizational change management process that created transparency and collaboration between IT and the business ensuring that goals and objectives of the business are integrated and delivered in the solutions that IT delivers.

Directed a large-scale, agile initiative with resources from both the business units and IT, for the design and implementation of a fully integrated, best-of-breed ERP solution to replace the University’s 20-year-old legacy system to support over 150,000 faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Implemented best practices in business architecture, change management and project management creating a “customer first” initiative, changing the culture from IT as technical support to a collaborative business partner.

Hired by the founder as the CIO to support an aggressive growth plan preparing for a major financial investment. Directed all aspects of technology, digital strategy, capital and operating budgeting, and financial projections for the company. Provided end-to-end project management from initial analysis, through execution and delivery for live events and game day entertainment/engagements.
