Each student was assigned a news topic to cover. I was assigned to report on local sporting events happening in the Kenosha area. Reports were due weekly. ● Communication 168 Intro to Visual/Digital Communication During this course we were taught to develop photos, and capture motion films using different camera angling, and editing techniques. The final project for this course was to create a 2 minute short film of any genre using editing software. I chose to edit my short film using Adobe.

● Communication 368 Children and the Media

In this course I was assigned to a group of 5. It was our responsibility to design a unique lesson plan used to demonstrate what Media Literacy is. Our audience was a group of first grade students. We also covered tactics used by different companies to sell products, and specifically capture the attention of children.

● Communication 370 Communication and Social Movements Each class session we went over different social movements that were made popular through the use of social media. Our Final assignment was to write about a social movement not covered in class, and present it.

● Sports Management 360 Sports Communication

In this course we focused on using different writing styles. I developed news stories through social media by taking live screenshots of games. I also had to give updates on what was happening during the game. For the final assignment I had to report on a controversial topic, currently happening in the sports world.
