Project Manager – (2017 – 2019)

●Program Manager for the Data Center Services (DCS) Procurement Project for the State of Texas tasked with developing and leading a strategically oriented project team with the objective of prioritizing and optimizing the team performance in supporting the IT strategy. Responsibilities included the development of project proposals, planning, decision-making and project fiscal management. Supervision exercised over professional, technical, and administrative personnel. As the Program Manager, duties included working with vendors and managing vendors to implement solutions on time, on schedule, and within budget.

●Managed the NetPlus project with the project objective of improving customer billing invoices to include balance carry forward information from the CAPPS System. Guided and collaborated closely with the accounting department’s subject matter experts to gather and refine requirements, execute the communication plan, and train internal staff on answering NetPlus customer questions.

●Managed the CAPPS Security Tracking project that automated tracking of CAPPS Financial roles. Work included gathering requirements, writing test scenarios, executing user testing, and deploying a tool in Salesforce that tracked the submission and approval of roles.

● Planned and implemented the T: Drive Folder Restructuring project with the project objective of evaluating current file structure, restructuring folders/files per the organizational chart, and sanitizing agency records. Relied on Clarity and MS Project to track resources and tasks.

Information Technology (IT)

Project Manager – (2016 – 2017)

●Managed the Office 365 migration project. Directed efforts of a cross-functional, intra-agency team to migrate approximately 3,000 users to Office 365. Focused on risk management (including creation, implementation, and tracking of mitigation and contingency strategies), using clear and concise communication with stakeholders to set expectations and create user buy-in to minimize project risk and exposure. ●Managed the GoAnywhere migration project, migrating numerous FTPs to a secure server. Work included managing external stakeholders (both vendor and government agency) as well as an integrated project team from four (4) deputy areas within the Child Support Division. Created and executed project work plan, ensuring work progressed on time and within budget.

●Managed the “Child Support Interactive Mobile Web” project that served as a portal for child support customers to check payments, view legal actions, and generate payment records on a mobile web site. My responsibilities included:

oExercised Scrum to drive results and meet a tight deadline

oDetermining the format and features of the website

oManaged project from inception to go-live stage

oWrote detailed requirements and documented process flows

oCreated QR code for customers to quickly access the portal
