Professional Experience

NPI/ The Works Inc. (Property Manager)

Responsibilities as a Property Manager have included:

Conducting consistent surveys on over 400 Properties for property maintenance while establishing a Standard (Klondike, The Medical District, South Memphis)

Oversaw and raised the Standard of the Blight Elimination Properties.

Overseeing the overall Demo, debris removal of the Blight Elimination Properties (Raised the Overall Score from 4= Poor to 1=Excellent on the existing BEPs)

Oversaw two crews that were part of a huge blight elimination effort in the Klondike area of Memphis (Recognized by City Council in December 2022).

Oversaw implementation of plumbing in the Washington Bottom area, which led to the creation of The Works Urban Farm.

Oversaw the initial stages of building The Works Urban farm (Hauling Dirt, Compost, Plumbing, etc.)

Worked with several contractors around –the- clock to have various services restored to Residents during inclement weather

Worked with contractors to repair and essentially fix work that was done by previous contractor.

Conducted various inspections of property prior to tenant move in.

Conducted walk-throughs with the Department of Planning and Development to ensure that work the Contractors were doing was in compliance.

Conducted meetings with Code Enforcement throughout various properties to establish a relationship and rectify whatever Code Violation that has become an issue; or in a proactive effort to be in compliance.

Worked with MLGW in several capacities: Service Connection, Pilot lighting, Backflow Installation, etc.

Worked with the Division of Public Works and Clean Memphis in a collaborative effort to expedite Blight Removal in the Klondike area.

Implemented the use of DAWGS (door and window guards systems) in the Medical District, Klondike, and South Memphis as an effective means of preventing casual entry, and preventing theft /damage of property-especially during construction.

Worked with alarm companies to ensure that our properties (15 Alarms, ADT) were secure
