Flow back consultant in Eagleford Shale for EP Energy. Job duties included JSA and safety compliance, orientation of any new personnel, supervisor, rigging up flowback equipment after frac and coil tubing drill out.

Pressure test surface equipment and function test safety systems (hi/lo fluid level shut in-- hi/lo pressure shut in), rig up frac tanks for separators to make into. Supervise setting and grounding of all surface equipment, transfer pumps, and oil storage tanks supervised all fluid and gas rates, disposal of water, and sales of the oil. Supervised the rig down and release of all equipment, documenting if equipment was released or turned over to production. Tracked daily cost and personnel on location, as well as write a 24 hour time summary and a 24 hour projection in a vendor and cost tracking program (Halliburton Open Wells). Eagleford is considered a poison gas formation, which, from time to time, contained high H2S concentrations. These rig ups were a closed loop frac tank system. Made sure all personnel had H2S training, fit test, and all H2S monitors were properly placed and functioned tested. Ensured all air and escape packs were in place and functioning. (Safety and compliance) Treated oil for H2S to drop concentrations below 10ppm for sales. Our standard flow back time was 14 days. Observe and document one safety or environmental observation per day. Lay off due to drop in oil prices. Lead Flowback Operator
