Contributed to growing revenue by $70M to $240M over 2.5 years.

Chief Financial Officer
Implemented a new financial reporting format for the board while successfully improving the closing process from 30 days to 10 days.
Worked closely with the Investment Committee, Finance Committee, Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.
Installed a new G/L software, MS Dynamics; upgraded the donor tracking software, Raiser’s Edge to Black Baud’s NXT, and restructured the finance department through layoffs and new hires.
Managed all financial grant reporting, both federal and corporate.

Watkins Meegan was a top 60 CPA firm with over 5,000 clients in all 50 states. The firm merged with Cohn Reznick in June of 2014.

Managed the operations of the firm, as well as a book of business, which included one of the firm’s largest clients, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA).
Developed and executed the strategic plan, led the business development and marketing efforts, managed IT, supported the Managing Member in supervising all aspects of the firm.
Led the consulting efforts for the firm at MWAA, winning multiple contract awards that supported the Offices of both the CFO and Internal Audit.

Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Positioned Sceptor for its IPO by drafting the S1 registration statement for SEC review in conjunction with Sceptor’s outside council, Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
Primary management liaison with the underwriters (primary: J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley; secondary: Morgan Keegan and Thomas Wiesel Partners [TWP]).
Re-audited the prior three years’ financial statements, installed a new accounting system, became Sarbanes-Oxley compliant, amended the prior years’ tax returns, managed the Accounting, Human Resources and Finance departments.
Managed and led all M&A activity for the company (two deals pre-IPO).
Managed the Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, and Government Contract Compliance departments.
PACE GLOBAL ENERGY, LLC (formally an affiliate of ALCOA, now owned by Siemens) 1998 - 2004

Pace Global Energy was an affiliate of the Aluminum Company of America, (ALCOA) and was both an energy consulting firm and an energy management firm. It managed the power needs for some of the largest industrial companies in North America and Europe.

Managed the Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Human Resources and Administration Departments.
Key member of the executive management team that drove international expansion, which included successfully performing on contracts in 36 countries and opening six foreign offices on three continents.
Implemented and managed a multi-currency treasury function for global operations.
Instilled fiscal discipline around billing, collections and procurement, which improved the overall cash-flow of the business. Reduced write-offs to 2% and DSO from 180+ days to less than 70 days.
Led all mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures including the acquisition of a division of Chevron Texaco.
Raised $225M in private placement funding via Morgan Stanley and other investors, to develop eight synthetic fuel manufacturing plants in five states. At full production revenues were $1.2bn per year.
