+1-651-***-****

I’m a father of 2. I was made a grandpa this year by my 24 y/o daughter. I also have a 10 y/o going on 19 at home. I have been married for 13 yrs, together for 20. I’m dedicated to my family as much as my job. One of my favorite quotes is “ if you’re going to do something, you do it right or what’s the use in doing it at all?” I have above average intelligence and common sense. I have a class B license/ permit and I have had my forklift certification.

I give 100% to everything I do. I understand, especially being a business owner in the past, time is money. I believe if there isn’t some pressing work to be done at the moment then it’s time to grab a broom and make sure things are tidy so nobody will get hurt with something out of place. I can only speak English fluently. Took Spanish for 3 years, but it is muy porquito (not much, very little). I can usually figure out what is being said to me though. I’m a jack of all trades master of a couple actually. I’m a Googler/YouTuber! If I’m not sure how to do something l’ll watch some videos and do it myself. I don’t take my vehicles in for service or call a handyman when things break down. I’m competent enough to trouble shoot a problem then Trace backwards to find the root of it. Thank you for the consideration and I look forward to meeting face to face so I can tell you why I’d be a great asset to your team/business.

Work Experience

Warranty Manager

Park Supply of America - Minneapolis, MN

June 2012 to May 2017

I started in sales for Park Supply of America. I was #1 in sales until they hired this man Joe, and we would literally go back and forth every month for top salesman (after6 months when he started using my closing lines). It was a very fun and a motivating time in the company. I was then given a promotion to warranty and returns manager. I was given a healthy raise, my own office, and people to manage. I did this until May of 2017.

I was forklift certified, I could also drive the delivery truck if needed since I had my class, I was in charge of getting the semi trucks set up for pick up on warrantied water heaters and boiler returns, which means BOL (Bill of Lading) filled out and ready to go, parts strapped (bound) to the correct pallets, weighed, and staged ready to go at a moment’s noticed.

Delivery Driver

South Cedar Greenhouse - Farmington, MN

May 2007 to August 2013

This was seasonal work. I would coordinate time off from carquest in the summer to drive for South Cedar. This worked out perfect for everyone involved being kids needed work in the summer to obviously make money for college. Carquest could hire for cheaper than they were paying me. I bowled with the owner of the greenhouse and he needed a class B driver which I was and I could use the the extra money (especially since pay was a lot better and extended hours because of the short season). I would take half semi loads (26’ straight axle truck w/air brakes) as north as Ely MN, as far south as Demoines IA, East Milwaukee WI, west to Sioux Falls SD. I would clean all the flowers and plants pre load ( taking dead leaves off or ones that had fallen off already) water and then put order forms and catalogs with every order. I would check the fluids, air in the tires, and brake system before every trip. On special occasions SCG would put me up in a hotel for the night since you’re only allowed to drive 10 hrs a day. I prefer driving over all other of my jobs. It’s just always something different. Seeing people you don’t see everyday. When you’re leaving a delivery while they smile and wave goodbye, really makes my heart feel good.
