November 2023: Decided to move to Flordia seeking warmer climate. Currently seeking part time work as associate or cashier. Education and work experience in medicine has trained me to engage with people to assess their wants and discuss needs, suggesting alternatives to what they want. Just as in retail, you strive to satisfy their needs but not always can. In medicine, people may ask for addictive drugs or tests that are not warranted. In retail, you may not have the product in stock and you cannot get it for them in time or cannot find it in stock at a close by store or arrange for delivery to your store for the distribution center. In both instances you learn to say i’m sorry that I cannot help you with compassion and politeness.
