Blue card is a collection of programs and policies that enable members to receive healthcare services while traveling or living in another Plan’s service area. It links participating providers and the independent BCBS Plans across United States through a single electronic network for claims processing and reimbursement. Empire is the largest health insurer in New York State, are licensees of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS). As Team lead supported Financial Disbursement Processing system, Federal Employee Program system and New York State Health Insurance Program(NYSHIP).

Role & Responsibilities:

Built the different Codes for different applications. These programs were Batch.

Responsible for Understanding Client Requirements, propose integration solution, help business/clients in preparing the Business Requirement Docs (BRDs), Prepare Functional Specifications (FSD).
