I have taught in-person and virtual settings, working with students, teachers, administrators, and parents as a case manager and special education teacher for high school students since 2004. I served as the Placement Chair at Dutch Fork High School for two years and as the LEA for over 335 meetings in one school year. While teaching in the FIVE setting, I implemented technology instructional tools such as Google Classroom, Read Theory, NoRedInk, NewsELA, PearDeck, DeltaMath, Write Right Now, easyCBM, APEX, Enrich, and PowerSchool
*I presented at the Alternative Schools Workshop in 2015-2016 on technology tools for students with learning disabilities.
* I have developed lessons for the beginning of the school year for our homeroom teachers to use during Fox Focus. This was from serving on the Power Hour Leadership team during the summer.
* I know special education laws and am very knowledgeable on how to write an annual and special review.
