Work Experience
Import Specialist
Radiant Logistics - Renton, WA
September 2021 to July 28 2023
I was working on imports from countries like China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and several countries
in Europe. I oversee big accounts because I have the most experience working as a broker. My
experience comes from years of special training in this field and working together with Customs
and all Government agencies. I have extensive experience at classifying all chapters of the world
tariff. I am also familiar with all Customs regulations and guidelines to process every commodity,
including FDA and any other government agency. I have cleared truck and air shipments. In my
current position, I am in charge of a few accounts that are very important to our office’s future. I
use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. I can use 10 key.
Customs Broker
Air Tiger Express - SeaTac, WA
October 2015 to April 2021
I processed ocean and air shipments. I took care of few house accounts, including one of the
largest toy companies in the country. My responsibilities were processing ISFs, monitoring the
arrival of freight, updating the customer, making sure all documents were present before arrival
of the freight, working on Customs clearance, sending delivery orders to various truckers, and
sending PODs to the customers. I was a great asset to the company.
Eco Import Coordinator
Fedex Trade networks - Anchorage, AK
June 2000 to October 2014
I had responsibilities as a trained Customs Broker. My functions included working with three
different systems. I received shipment information electronically and used the Tariff book to
classify all shipments that were arriving from Asia. I pre-cleared shipemnts before arrival at the
Fedex Hub. I also worked side by side with Fedex Express at the hub and assisted them in
determining if the freight was cleared or not, and if freight was good to go. As a broker, I had
the power to either caged the freight for more information or release it as a Section 321 if the
shipment did not require any specific agency. In order to avoid any delays, I monitored
shipments closely so they would move to their final destination. I scanned paperwork into the
system, classified shipments, and keyed them in according to the US harmonized book of tariffs
for proper clearance. FedEx Trade Networks worked as a liaison between FedEx Express and U.S.
Customs to facilitate the prompt release of shipments. Accomplishments to note: I made a big
difference by clearing "HOT SHIPMENTS" daily for high profile accounts. I was the entry
processing department trainer for new employees as well as veterans. I was the department
lead, appointed by the department manager to re-write and update all departmental
procedures. My skills include using Microsoft Outlook, Windows, and Excel; being fast at data
entry; and have extensive knowledge in phone systems, messaging system, fax, and scanner.
Overall, I’m a fast learner with knowledge in using the world tariff book. I could classify all types
commodities. I am organized, punctual, and responsible. I have great time management and am
able to prioritize.
