100% Remote Full time customer service rep for a very large medical practice consisting of over 70+ offices throughout New York and New Jersey. Duties included using multiple programs simultaneously to verify existing patients and creating new ones, while upholding HIPAA laws and medical privacy. Taking incoming calls, confirming insurance information, and pairing patients with in-network doctors to schedule, cancel, reschedule patients with specialists, as needed. Taking messages for doctors, recording medication renewal, refills, and prescription requests, medical questions, and medication reactions. I worked directly under the owners and had multiple duties ranging from HR- researching future candidates, posting employment ads & responding to them, creating the onboarding documents, maintaining all employee files, interviews/hiring, reserved conference rooms for meetings, maintained the bosses’ schedule for outside sales calls, estimates, materials delivery, and interviews.
