●Designed Interface between Siebel & Oracle Apps for exchange of Service Contracts data in order to facilitate Revenue Recognition for service products that are originally sold along with the covered asset and the sale is booked directly in Oracle Order Management module. Since the payment is received upfront for these service contracts (A/R updated simultaneously), the amount received for the SKUs marked for Deferred Service accounting rule is put in the Unrecognized Revenue G/L account. This interface facilitates accurate Revenue Recognition of service contracts that are billed upfront but executed in the future.

●Designed the entire customization required in Seibel Field Service to record the revenue recognition event which prepares the data to be transmitted to Oracle by the Interface, applying specific Deferred Service accounting rules for Extended Warranty SKUs and other qualifying Service Products.

A/R Scheduled Billing Interface--Non-Concurrent Sale (BSA: Functional Lead—Systems Integration)

●Designed the interface modules to transfer the Scheduled Billing records for Service Contracts booked directly within InTouch (Siebel CRM) to Oracle Financials for Invoicing and updating GL, A/R, RR.
