Was working as health officer at Getem Gurbaye health center in Silte Zone,SNNP

Responsible for all in and out patients’ treatment and follow up including children under 5 years of age especially in relation with Malnutrition screening and management.

Responsible to provide technical guidance for health extension workers on Malnutrition, MCH and WASH related activities in all kebeles under the health centers cluster

Responsible for youth friendly service in the health center which includes consulting and advising patients and deal with psychological relief

Responsible for following up on proper and quality delivery of health care services including the implementation of vaccinations according to EPI schedule, delivery of proper ANC follow ups and delivery, implementation of contraceptive deliveries and promotion in every kebele under the health centers cluster.

Responsible for preparing and coordinating outreaches and campaigns for vaccines and hygiene promotions.

Ensure a proper referral system is being implemented in the health center.

Prepare and coordinate reports from all kebele extension workers and the health center staffs, analyze and draft action plans on main gaps and report to woreda responsible person.

Responsible for trachoma trichiasis treatment, screening and prevention, I am qualified ICW(surgeon) on trachoma trichiasis disease

I work on trachoma trichiasis case with many NGOs like ORBIS, GRAR BET and so on, Also on cataract screening, glaucoma screening and trachoma cases

I am trained and certified on compressive abortion care

Responsible for negeleclected tropical disease (like, Intestinal parasites, lymphatics filarhsis), malaria

I am Discipline committee head on Getem Gurbae health center.

I am a young and highly motivated Public health officer graduated from one of the best universities in Ethiopia with a CGPA of 2.57. I have a 3+years of professional work experience working in different positions and responsibilities in both governmental and non-governmental organizations. I've worked in a primary health care setup, with a very hard to reach kebeles under intervention, as an Adult and Under five children, Nutrition, WASH, PHEM/CDC & Infection prevention control and Non Communicable Disease focal person . I have also been working in multiple Emergency response projects related with CHOLERA management for the most in pandemic area. I have been working in a very harsh environment ever since i started my professional career giving me the ability and resilience to work in a very challenging environment. I am an effective team builder and team player with the ability to take initiative to achieve personal and professional (organizational) objectives. I can coordinate activities and meet deadlines of given tasks. I also have an excellent ability to prioritize and Delegate tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion within a team environment . I have a good leadership and management skills towards the team who work with me. I am well known to be able to rapidly assimilate new concepts, systems and cultures, committed towards common goal.
