I direct Mine personnel in daily mining tasks to maintain the condition of the mine . I work with and guide personnel during section moves, belt moves and belt backs during advance room and pillar mining and pillar recovery. Currently operate 488 Eimco and S&Sscoops to haul supplies to different areas of the mine. I use them to clean areas of the active working section. I operate an A.LLee Lo-Trac on a frequent basis cleaning under conveyor belts, blow dusting the mine roof and walls and placing palletized supplies in areas for use. I have operated Fletcher Roof Ranger Roof drills while working here and also Walk thru Platform Fletcher Roof Drills. I conduct Pre-shift and On-shift inspections of outby areas and the working section on a daily basis. Position jacks, timbers,or roof supports,and install casings, in order to prevent cave-ins. Reposition machines and move controls in order to make additional holes or cuts. Cut entries between rooms and haulage- ways. Observe indicator lights and gauges, and listen to machine operation in order to detect binding or stoppage of tools or other equipment problems. Replace worn or broken tools and machine bits and parts,using wrenches,pry bars, and other hand tools, and lubricate machines, using grease guns. Press buttons to activate conveyor belts, and push or pull chain handles to regulate conveyor movement so that material can be moved or loaded into shuttle cars or dump trucks. Move planer levers to control and adjust the movement of equipment the speed height and depth of cuts, and to rotate swivel-cutting booms. Cut slots along working faces of coal in order to facilitate blasting. Moving levers to start the machine and to control the vertical reciprocating drills. Drive mobile or track mounted cutting machines in mines and on construction sites. Ensure proper mining equipment maintenance and use. Perform a full range of task and operate a variety of equipment in underground mines. Experience includes extensive hands on mining experience that allows for
