Assumed responsibility for the 13-site, (including in Mexico and Canada), 3600-employee, $375M in annual sales, Americas Region of an international consumer products and telecommunications logistics, service, and repair provider.
Key Achievements:
Boosted annual revenue from $275 million to $375 million, by securing new business with industry-leading corporations such as Dell, Gateway, Hewlett Packard, IBM, and Philips.
Established two Mexico plants and substantially reduced headcount and operating costs (approximately $46 million) within five U.S. plants.
Implemented Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, TQM, QMS, ISO 9001, and Six Sigma at key, high-volume manufacturing plants, resulting in dramatically reducing individual plant expenses.
By incorporating a Supplier Management Program, reduced raw material inventory 58%, improved inventory accuracy from 84% to 97%, and improved on-time delivery from 89% to 97%.

DYNATECH MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY, INC., Calabasas, CA 1989 - 1996
Vice President of Operations
Transformed 37-site, 14,800-employee diversified manufacturer of RF microwave devices for the military and aerospace industries into a world-class manufacturing organization generating $22 million in revenue, annually by designing and executing a business improvement program targeting; cost reduction, supplier quality, inventory management, manufacturing yield, continuous improvement, and scrap reduction initiatives.
Key Achievement:
Achieved a 68% increase in revenue and 28% increase in gross margins by implementing a business process reengineering (BPR) program that cut costs, reduced excess inventory, and improved efficiency, product quality, production yields, and fulfillment of delivery commitments.

Director of Operations at Everest & Jennings in Camarillo, CA, the world’s largest privately held wheel chair manufacturer. Responsible for the companies 4 manufacturing plants in the United States and internationally. Over ten years with Baxter International in Deerfield, IL, the company’s corporate headquarters, held management positions within the procurement, new product development and operations functions. Project Leader for in the development of new kidney dialysis machine and setting up new production facilities within the United States and internationally. Transferred to the Hyland Therapeutics facility in Los Angeles, CA to develop a Supply Chain Management Department and implement an ERP system. Team Leader with Bell & Howell in Skokie, IL, in the Supply Chain Management organization. Responsible for the procurement of raw materials supporting production needs. Project Leader for a joint venture with Polaroid developing a movie camera and projector, instantly developing the film.
