I am versatile in leading a church in understanding, embracing, and accomplishing the mission to win and develop disciplines locally and internationally and engross followers in worship, community, and ministry. The gifts and graces God has given to me to build, equip, and unify the congregation through faith and prayers. Additionally, one thing that I find joyful is helping others to deal with their challenges and help create a better world for ourselves.

I am also experienced in devising and implementing church vision and executing strategies to achieve short-range and long-range spiritual and organizational goals and objectives.

Preaching and Teaching: Preparing and delivering sermons and Bible studies

Fundraising: Developing and executing fundraising plans.

Administration: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church or organization.

Evangelism: Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who do not know Him.

Visitation: Visiting members, potential members, and community members.

Program Development: Developing and implementing programs to meet the community's needs.

Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing long-term goals and strategies.

Coordinates the use of the chapel.

March 2021 - Current

Assistant Pastor, Ghana Calvary United Methodist Church, Verona, NJ, US

Assist the Senior Pastor with part of the day-to-day activities of the church office and ministry.

Oversee the ministry teams and ensure they have what they need to carry out their areas of ministry.

Develop and oversee a ministry to our young families and singles.

Have been leading Bible study classes and speaking at regularly scheduled church meeting times.

Coordinate the youth program and work with the youth leaders to carry on a growing, balanced ministry.

Assist in organizing, planning, and implementing an effective retreat program for students, parents, faculty, and staff that contributes to community building, faith development, evangelization, and leadership.

Assist in providing opportunities for growing in a personal relationship with Jesus.

Assist in offering a variety of prayer experiences, personal and communal.

Coordinate opportunities for students, parents, faculty, and staff to celebrate Sacraments.

Coordinate liturgical celebrations, including end-of-month Young People’s Contemporary Service.

Assisted in the distribution of Holy Communion.

Ensured that any local preacher was cared for when he or she arrived to preach at our church.

Provided a traveling local preacher with a meal at my home after worship service per historic Methodism.
