Design, Develop, Implement Online CICS application system to process HIPAA 278 inbound and out bound transaction request/response segments arriving from WEB in EDI ASCII X12 format. The EDI Gateway interface programs perform HIPAA X12 syntax, IG syntax and semantic edits (using SYBASE paper free translator) and use MQ Series to send these request transaction records to Enterprise server. TMCS application interacts with MQ Series, determines the syntactical correctness, insurance coverage and medical necessity of the 278-transaction request and loads to various DB2 and IMS databases.
