While working at Rolfs, I greeted clients and welcomed them into the salon. I escorted them to the changing room and handed them a robe. I offered them a selection of beverages. Then I walked them to the station where they were getting their hair service. I received specialized training in order to provide individualized hair washing for clients using massage techniques. I educated clients about shampoo, conditioner, and treatments that would be most beneficial for their hair and lifestyle. I handled money manually and digitally. I also scheduled appointments using the salon computer software system.

Worked at McDonald’s for a year. Learned how to take orders. I got promoted to Crew Leader. Worked night time shifts after school and also worked on the weekends. I developed a great work ethic.

I enjoyed learning in the cosmetology program. I was a representative for my class in Student Government.
