I worked independently on this job. I created door jams for doors. The doors were already assembled and I matched the door jams per the orders. I would get all the parts for the door and used a machine that would nail the parts together. Tools utilized included band saw, drills, nail guns and measuring tapes. I used carts to load the doors on a delivery truck. The doors had to be organized and secured in a certain way on the trucks to insure they didn’t get damaged during delivery. I received my door orders in the morning and they all had to be completed in eight hours. I always met my quota.

The warehouse was divided into sections and utilized a conveyor belt to replenish the product. The floor managers would notify me when a product needed replenishing and I would direct the team on restocking as well as helping them to restock. I directed a crew and assigned them to different sections in the warehouse to pull the product. I moved bins of product from one end of the warehouse to the other in preparation for delivery. I operated a forklift to load the product onto the trucks and also made sure the workers cleaned up. For example there would be broken pieces of pallets or spilled product on the floor that would need to be cleaned.
