Various roles – Management of Technical and Business Projects

oTechnical Project manager for the implementation of a DR solution for the customers of a SaaS Vendor, implementing secondary VPN tunnels and/or MPLS lines to an AWS site. Management of technical resources, communications with external clients and reporting to senior management.

oProgram and Project Manager for a PA Health System, managing several projects simultaneously for their Cancer Center partnership with MD Anderson, including the implementation of a new EMR and a new LINAC (Linear Accelerator). oWorked with technical staff and external vendors to champion a proposal with senior management to improve the disaster recovery strategy for key applications (hot site).

oDirected a team of approximately 50 IT/IS professionals with another 100 cross functional resources in a multi-year project to deliver a single claims system for a major Blues Plan. (Director position with 3 managers as direct reports). Day to day management of technical staff and developers and responsibility for monthly project updates to the senior business team.
