I graduated from vet tech school in 1990 and I am a New York state licensed veterinary technician. Due to the limitations in pay and benefits I made a career change and went to medical billing school. I worked as a biller for five years. My husband became ill and I had to care for him. I am now a billing assistant again and it has been challenging to get back into it but I am really enjoying it again.
