I was welding on various metals from SS to carbon steel following all welding procedures, welding seams, vessels, beams, sheet metal 1 -1 in thick, cleaning material with multi purpose cleanser before welding. I’m familiar with reading blueprints and being a team leader. When purging was not an option, welds resulted to steel backing. I also weld Iron to I beams, shoes to pipe, gussett welds, hung and fitted iron, hung and fitted pipe, inspected pipe and VT for QC Inspection.

While I was at this job my job duties was to read blue prints, fit up and weld out S/S swimming pools, 16 to 17 gauges. I had a crew of six men who engaged and carried all task asked of them. I welded 2”, 4” pipe to flanges and two holed them, position weld, GTAW 100% Aragon, SMAW, fit up and aligned butteress and trusets S/S, placed inner and outer wall and weld out.

As a maintenance worker I assisted with a five man crew to keep up and maintain the piping mill, such as, repairing busted pipes, 2” to 12” pipe 100% process GTAW 100% argon ER 308L, ER 309L. B31.1 and B31.3 section 7. Minor repairs to electrical components. Built casings for conveyors, built handrails and installed as needed. Replaced drive shafts, lock out tag out when working on the hydro or hydraulic pumps, remove old flanges and install new ones.

Put together BOP double/headed and single headed valves and welded according to WPS on Sub-Arc, Built manifolds, housings, piping spools with flanges, gauging major and minor repairs where X-rays indicate a defect, built skids for manifolds, man/baskets for floor header that we built for schlumberger, Built annulars, RTJ, Cavities,etc.

At SPX we built 42”, 12”, 12” gate valves, welded 2”, 6” 12” pipe with S/S, purge using, ER316, ER308, ER309 100% B31.1, B31.3 section7 . I built skids and platform under D1.1, fitted up and welded up spools (flanges to various pipe size). Using gauges to determine proper welds, welded nipples to 90 degree turns 100% GMAW R/H and F/C FCAW, Ceramic welding inch C-Steel/vessel weld & cargo.
