Roles & Responsibilities:

To draw a 2D drawings & 3D modeling.

Preparation of Piping engineering drawings like General Piping layouts, Plot plan, Isometrics, Equipment Layouts and Pipe supports drawings.

Design & Development of Equipment Layout & GA Drawings.

Piping routing & Modeling with respect to P&ID.

Accessibility and maintenance requirements of inline piping components.

Selection of Piping Materials, Sizes, Schedules and Branch connections from PMS.

Experience in Piping Specification, Design Codes and Standards.

Supports selection, preparation & checking of support drawings. Pipe support modelling.

Confirming Pipe supports in consultation with the Stress and Civil engineers.

Good understanding of drawings and documents like PFD, P&ID, PMS, Instrument Hook-up, civil/structural drawings, piping components used in Oil & Gas industry (offshore and onshore), Inspection & Testing requirements, Painting, Insulation specification, Valve Data Sheet, SP Item Data Sheet, Equipment data sheets and Vendor drawings etc.

Should have strong practical knowledge on operation, maintenance, safety requirements from layout perspective.

Experience in vendor drawing review, IDC of other discipline drawings & documents.

Preparation of Spool drawings and field weld marking.

Zero/Intermediate/Bulk level MTO.

Review contract documents and identify requirements and scope of work for project execution.

Experience in Brownfield, Conceptual, FEED and EPC in detail design.

Technical & Engineering Specifications, documents, drawings, Equipment and UG & AG Piping Layouts during FEED and detailed engineering phase of the Project.

Familiar with offshore sub-station layout concepts, global codes and standards requirement will be major plus.

Familiarity with international codes, standards, and industry guidelines such as ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, AWWA, ISO, MSS SP, Shell DEP, BS, NACE, QE etc.

Extraction of deliverables from 3D model is Piping Isometrics, Piping GA drawings, skid packages, Pipe Support drawings & Piping BOQ (MTO).

3D model navigation in Navisworks.

Nozzle elevation and orientation drawing for Tanks and Equipments.

Consistency checks and clash resolution procedure based on Clash Reports.

Modeling Structural drawings like Pipe racks, Equipment support Structures, stairs, Ladders & Handrails.

Co-ordination and follow with Structural, Architecture and Civil drawings.

Co-ordination with inter-department & intra-departments as well.

Checking and Review vendor drawings & inputs as per Engg.

Checking of IDC documents from other disciplines.

Hands on experience of utilizing the underground survey drawings.

Preparation of sites survey reports and Updating As-Built drawings such as Piping area division drawings, General Arrangement drawings and Isometrics.

Updation of Drawings as per the Site mark-ups and Client comments.
