Working at Karplus helped me improve my sales career because I learned to maximize all my deals, I would always give the highest payments with all the products I can sell other than the car. I had to do the whole process of meeting the customer to landing them on a car to sell products and holding gross for the dealership. In home improvements sales, my duty was to go into people’s homes and consult about the project they want to get started. I listen to the customer’s wants and needs, even their past experiences they’ve had with previous home projects. Then, I proceed to take my measurements, I sit down with the homeowners and consult about our company and how we are different from “industry standard”. I’ve learned to handle objections, and rebuttals before the negotiation. When creating the design, I make sure that the customer loves the design, the product, and our company. When delivering the price, I have price conditioned the project, and handled objection(s). Now, I ask for the sale because they like the company, and they like the design. In addition, I have taken training courses for kitchen remodels, interior/exterior painting and flooring.
