Performs continuing review of engineering activities to ensure that management objectives are being met. Use professional construction code knowledge of quantitative and qualitative engineering and analytical techniques and procedures coupled with a broad knowledge of systems acquisition and operation and support processes; ssupervise capital projects and physical plant programs, which included the design of new facilities, remodeling existing facilities and developing of construction documents. Prepares/designs or quality assurance plans, health and safety plans, corrective action plans, and technical reports or submitted by consultants for conformance with the requirements and regulations and engineering principles and practices. The responsibilities of the owner of a small engineering group includes providing technical support to my managers and staff; supervising the preparation and evaluate detailed reporting, drawings; assigning and reviewing the work of subordinate supervisors and consultants; determining resources necessary to complete assigned work; reviewing plans, and quality of work for projects; preparation and/or supervising the production of a wide variety of technical reports and other documentation; interviewing, selecting, training, monitoring, evaluating and counseling staff; review a variety of bid documents; represent the company as a certified officer for operations and team member. Also, ensures the performance of the company as mandated by the federal laws and our articles of the corporation. Additional, my responsible include providing technical engineering support to the Capital Division and directing the site capital project program. Providing technical engineering support for operations including project engineering, production engineering, control engineering, engineering records management, CAD services, electronics, service. Also, responsible for managing the district facilities and ensure their planning, design, construction, and maintenance; and supervising required schedules and budgets. Also, coordinate in-house repair and renovation work; conduct final inspections; prepare drawings, technical specifications and bidding documents for a wide range of construction projects; maintain archive of construction documents. As the sub-contracted Resource Efficiency Manager (REM) III task with DoD Military Installations. The REM III worked towards accomplishing energy goals by supporting facility repair and construction activities, including providing design review comments; project management support; identification of energy savings projects, preparation of DD1391s, construction coordination and oversight; and other support activities to ensure that energy efficiency measures and water conservation measures are incorporated into new construction, Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects, Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC) projects, Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) projects, Facilities Repair and Renovations (FRR) projects, and other energy funded- projects such as the Army Energy and Utility Program (QUTM). In addition, REM support services shall include the promotion, education, and adoption of energy and water resources conservation and management activity assistance necessary to optimize the use of installation utility resources, including but not limited to natural gas, coal, electricity, water, and wastewater.
