I am experienced Scholar in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology having skills in Synthetic Biology, Strain Engineering, Microbiology, Labeled Metabolomics, Vector cloning and genome editing. I have worked with E.coli, Yeast and mostly with photosynthetic microorganisms (especially Cyanobacteria) since past 8 years (6 years in PhD and 1 year 8 months in Postdoc).

In my postdoc at UCSD, I have engineered marine cyanobacterium for producing high-value compounds for biotechnological applications and contributing in other projects running in the lab for microalgae promoter library preparation.

During my PhD, I learned skills for Molecular Biology, Metabolomics, Fluxomics, Strain development, Optimization under different environmental conditions, Culturing and transformation of cyanobacteria.

I would like to emphasize that I can design, perform and analyze experiments individually as well as can work well in collaborations also. I am an enthusiastic fast learner, creative, logic based problem solver and have ability to do research, create and deliver high quality content. I always look for a new challenge in science-based research.

I have trained/training master students and interns during my research journey. I am also volunteering as a Reviewer in Journals: Bioenergy Research, MDPI (applied microbiology, phycology), Frontiers in Environmental Microbiology, Microbial cell factories, Journal of Engineering Research and Sciences (JENRS) etc.
