Resume:

**/**** - **/**** ********* equipment operator, Forklift operator

Kaiser Aluminum & Chem Sales, Sherman, TX

I would set up a rough saw, precision saw, billet saw, and operate forklift. I would get order from press operator. Set up length, and how many cuts per drag of aluminum. I would then look at order, and see how much front scrap to cut off first, and see how to pack the metal after cutting. After we finish stacking the metal, then I would cut the back scrap. I would make sure we have the right packing material. After we make the first cut, I would stop the cutting process, and check the parts to make sure they meet the proper specifications with gauges. If it is good, then I would continue the cutting process, and help stack the metal while the saws continue to cut. When the bundles are complete, then we would band the material up, and I would move the product after labeling it with proper tag and move with the forklift, and if the scrap bin is full. I would band it up and carry it out to scrapyard. After we complete the order, I would go into the computer and log how many pieces, how much weight, and how long it took to do the order if we finished, or how long we worked on that order. 09/2021 - 04/2022 Warehouse lead

Christmas Designers, Sherman, TX

I started as picker here. I would pick orders for customers, usually with a little personal cart, or I would get on a stand-up forklift, and pull from up in the rack. I soon became a warehouse lead, and got certified on the stand-up forklift again here. I would also use a hand scanner to scan product and move them to different locations to make room for other product. They said I was laid off because of their budget.

12/2013 - 04/2021 Line Leader

Tysons, Sherman, TX

I started out as trimmer on line 2 in beef slice. I soon learned how to use the bandsaw, use the whizzard knife, open box, open bags, styling, the grasselli, and how to use the machine that took the place of the bandsaws. I learned everything on the line before I became lead, (assistant supervisor) about 3 or 4 years after I started. I would oversee team members making sure they work at a productive pace, and make sure all product meets specified sizes, thickness, and make sure the stylers put the product in the appropriate trays and neatly. I soon got moved to lines 7 and 8 as a lead there. I learned how to set up and use the stew meat machine, and the holac on line 8. When I wasn't using the machine, then I would continue to oversee the team members on lines 7 and 8, making sure they are also working at a productive pace, and styling the product neatly in their assigned trays. I would also time each team members to keep an eye on their speed. First thing I would do in the DANIEL CATO

I would also train team members how trim, or whatever they are learning how to do. I would also go to different lines to help them if they needed me to. I could do just about anything on the whole beef slice floor. There were 9 lines on the beef slice floor. The supervisors knew they could depend on me to be at work everyday on time, and if I needed to learn something new, I had no problem learning quickly, and eventually I would also train others how to do things. I would have to wear a smock, cutting gloves, a hard hat with a shield attached to it, a face mask, a beard net, a hair net, and earplugs.
