I am a results-driven individual with a strong work ethic and dedication who values integrity. I possess a strong background in Refinery/Petrochemical infrastructure with extensive experience and proven success in project planning and scheduling pertaining to crude oil refining industry using a strong focus on minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. I have been a part of the leadership team in projects that have been recognized and received awards including in 2009 at Salt Lake City Chevron an award for Best in the West. A skill that has helped in my success is to look at situations from different angles and make sure that I am finding the most cost effective and logical way to accomplish tasks. An example of this was when as a Planner Scheduler in Belle Chasse the original plan for hydrotesting the acid settler and the depropanizer tower was to hydrotest with 750,000 gallons of demineralized water in a series of 40 frac tanks to a common header. I was not satisfied with this approach and after researching the effectiveness of alternative options, I proposed that we use a lake tank by “Rain for Rent” which was a million-gallon tank and the area on the plot was about 1/10 of the size of what would have been needed. This allowed significant cost savings not only in rental fees but also in man hours.
