5th Annual Leadership Academy attendee, September 2013

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)

The four-day program engages candidates in a self-examination of leadership, what that means and how that impacts their personal life, their career path, and the CPA profession. The interactive dialogue with the profession’s thought leaders, and other Academy participants, focuses on the issues currently facing the profession and direction the profession needs to take in order to remain a dynamic and active participant in the global marketplace. Candidates will have peer mentors, active leadership opportunities through both AICPA and State Societies, and be given a unique exposure to the most senior AICPA leaders, both during the Academy and through their follow-up assignments.

Accounting Competition- First Round Judge 2014 & 2015

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)

The case study competition gives 15 teams of college students an opportunity to showcase their managerial accounting magnificence. Three winning teams will present their proposed strategies in Washington, D.C. and win $10k, and money for their school.
