Responsibilities:

Perform daily routine Inspection of Turbine and Boiler Auxiliary Equipment’s Analyze plant-operating parameters, identify abnormalities, predict potential faults and report plant defects to shift leader,Operating all plant components including coal pulverized, steam turbines, generator, boiler feed, condensate and circulating water system, To carryout required operations/switching and perform plant/equipment routine changeovers as per operational preventive maintenance routines following control room instructions,Monitoring and operating power unit boiler and turbine includes replacement of working electrical components (breakers, fuses, electrical wires and contactors), Startup Checks of Ultra Super Critical Boiler Heating and Drainage System, Oil and Coal Firing System, Startup Checks of Steam Condenser and Cooling Water System and Steam Driven Boiler Feed Water Pumps, Startup Checks of Turbine Lubricating Oil, Seal Oil and Gland Steam System,Carrying out plant (startup) checks following the Shift Engineer instructions, Testing of Startup Boiler, EDG and plant equipment as per operational Records.

Field Operator

Currently performing as a se field operator at MCR Coal Tube Boiler and Turbine Operation Department at Lucky Electric Power Company Limited [660 MW Ultra-Super Ultra-Critical] and operating plant auxiliaries – BOP (Balance of Plant) for following units:

•Analyze plant-operating parameters, identify abnormalities, predict potential Faults and report plant defects

•Operate all plant components including coal pulverize, steam turbines,

•Generators, boiler feed, condensate and circulating water system.

• Startup Checks of ultra-supercritical Boiler Heating and Drainage System, Oil And Coal Firing System

•Carryout plant (startup) checks following the Shift Engineer instructions To handle plant trips, transients, abnormalities efficiently, troubleshooting and Startup checks of Pumps

• Carryout required switching and perform equipment routine changeovers as per Operational preventive maintenance routines following CCR instructions.

•Monitor and operate power unit boiler and turbine includes replacement of Working electrical components (breakers, fuses, electrical wires and contactors).

• To carryout isolation and desolation of plant equipment’s required maintenance By following Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.

• Participate in HSE meetings and having some essential safety training.

FIELD OPERATOR IN MCR 2018 – 2022

China Power Hub Generation Company (Supercritical Boiler 1320MW)

Supercritical once through, Reheat, balance draft type boiler (2031.7t/h, 25.5Mpa) and its Auxiliaries, Turbine and its Auxiliaries system

Responsibilities:

Carryout daily inspection of plant and equipment and utilities to ensure normal operations. Take save variety of readings such as rates, level and pressures, flow, loads, running condition and enters in daily log book. Carry out start-up, shutdown and emergency operation of the plant and equipment as per operating procedure.

System history and trends, troubleshoots and finds the Root Causes of the problems. Carry out minor running repairs where possible and details faults for subsequent preparation of Defect cards. In cases of serious malfunctions, ensures that safety procedure is followed Participate in all maintenance and inspection activites

Prepare equipment for required job and place back on line upon completion. Includes depressurizing/ pressurizing, purging, isolating and releasing for maintenance. Participate in the preparation/ updating of operating procedures. Build and work with multicultural. Work together with the other departments in order to achieve the best result for the company Maintain high ethics standards. Adheres to Company Policies and Procedures.

Troubleshooting

Perform initial diagnosis of any defects/defaults that occur during the normal unit Operation and reporting these defects through Maximo 7.1 in Emergency situation Inform safety controller using the equipment’s specific KKS code .Perform and assists different teams on various PMs of unit and its auxiliaries.

Testing

Perform various on-jobs testing of the plant including turbine valve tests, Heaters NRV testing,Emergency plant test, Auxiliary change over, Startup testing, monthly and weekly testing’s.

Three Years Diploma Associate Engineering (Mechanical) Gpi College Lyari Karachi.

Professional Skills:

Hands on experience on Lath machine.

Hands on experience on welding.

Hands on experience on shaper machine.
